Sheinbaum calls for mobilization in response to Gen Z protests

President Claudia Sheinbaum stated that the country has much to celebrate, despite protests. 'They don't want to celebrate, but that's not a problem. There is much to celebrate in what the country has changed and these seven years of transformation,' the head of state said during her morning press conference this Monday. She highlighted the mobilization that the leadership of Morena is already organizing to defend her administration and, in this way, confront Generation Z. 'This idea that there is anger, dissatisfaction, annoyance. They make up all this story,' she shot back and added: 'It doesn't affect us because we know the joy, I see it in the people because there are many people waiting, they greet me on the highways and when we arrive in the cities.' 'There is much to celebrate,' she assured during her usual press conference. At a time when the ruling party is facing the demonstrations of Generation Z, this Monday President Claudia Sheinbaum announced and called for the mobilization that Morena will hold next December 6th at the Zócalo in Mexico City. In response to the first Generation Z mobilization, which generated strong images of violence at the capital's Zócalo, the murder of Carlos Manzo in the municipality of Uruapan, and the murder of the lemon leader of Michoacán, Bernardo Bravo, the ruling party seeks to regain control of the agenda to once again strengthen the image of the president and the 4T. In this way, the 'guinda' party is calling for a mobilization next December 6th at the Zócalo of Mexico City. 'It's a free country,' Sheinbaum concluded.
